Trevor Blake: Nobody Likes Press Releases

Wednesday, September 16th, 2009

For immediate release!

OVO has recently added the contents of two older online projects that I was a part of: my links at delicious.com and my first blog. OVO now has 18,689 posts from June 2001 to the present.  Later I hope to import all of my flickr images, BBS messages and usenet posts.  The earliest surviving evidence of my being online appears to be from October 1991.  OVO in zine form goes back to 1987, and I’ve scanned a few pages of an earlier zine going back to 1985.

Popup posting bookmarklet for del.icio.us — Hugo’s blog

I very slightly tweaked the official bookmarklet to simply make it a popup window, and also enabled text selection to enter a description.

Beware Delicious 2.0.95

Thursday, August 21st, 2008

Selected text no longer automatically added to notes field – browser cluttered with options that cannot be removed – export feature apparently disabled in favor of browser integration. Delicious used to do one thing very well, attempts to make it do many things have lessened its value. Features I don’t want added, features I need taken away. I’ve added nearly 13,000 links to delicious, now looking for other solutions.
